20"x10.5" adv 5.0 deep concave rubbing issue help needed

Guys, need some quick advise here. I have installed my adv wheels and kw lowering kits. The front is working fine. But I've found the back tyres are rubbing(20x10.5 305/25) because for some reason the kw rear link didn't lower the car. The dealer who install the kit actually used their computer to trick the system on my car to lower 30mm on the back. They also told me they can only set 30mm lower or nothing without using the kw link or i can install the link by not lowering the car. My question is are they doing something wrong here? Or anyone had the same problem? Their recommendation is to round the guard up. But I can see it clearly that the tyres are rubbing inside wall of the panel. Please help!

Here are the photos.

Your offset is too low that is why it is rubbing. If it pokes out, I am guessing your offset is low 20s or high teens... Lowering isn't your problem. Ask them to maybe put the car 2-3mm right above the tire see if that solves it.

Edit: Saw you have '12 CLS, so I wouldn't know the offsets. Maybe ask VIC55

What offset did they give you on those wheels? I need that first but obviously their engineers were way off and on a 10.5 inch wheel which is not even the widest most run on a CLS cars...

Your car isnt even dropped in those pics that much, if at all, and its way outside.

Let me know.

Doesn't make sense that the rear is rubbing, but you say the rear is not dropped. Sounds like your wheels aren't the correct spec.

Offsets are too aggressive in the rear.
I would contact ADV.1 and have them correct the issue.

Great looking wheels btw!

Tried to contact adv about the offset through my supplier. Still don't have any reply after 2 days Which is sad. Anyway I got the rear raised 20mm for the moment. Driving it with a lots of caution. I really don't want to damage the guard. Anyway thx vic. Will let you know once I have the offset.

No reply for 2 days now. I hope to get some answer soon. It looks really good but pain in the butt to clean the wheels. The break dust are just so obvious on the white rim. Don't go for a White wheels unless u have someone to clean them after every drive LOL.

Sorry what I mean is the dealer actually dropped 30mm for me by confusing the on board computer.

It almost appears they used offsets for a C219 CLS55 or 63.... not good.

As I suspected they gave you a 219 offset.... Not much you can do except for heavy fender work I would guess at this point. Or if you ordered them new, have them remake the rears.

The fronts are fine.

Can't change the offset to fit the car? Thanks vic.
