CC Brakes?
the car is very heavy and if you're going to do even one or two track days i would agree that the upgrade is worth your money. warped rotors can get expensive. 1,000 a piece i'm assuming for each rotor

I am having custom pads made to increase the stopping power of the standard PP brakes and will be testing them at Willow on the 9th. Told they will stop on a dime but will chew up the rotors. F-it...

I looked into this, and there are two parts to it. Cost: to go fully OEM, parts run almost $15k (not including labor). Functionality: I spoke with an AMG guy (not a brake engineer, but a career AMG man that was and is involved in many production decisions) at the AMG academy, and he said that many different systems operate with specific normal / CC brake programming. He strongly advised against the upgrade because of this (even after we debated ECU reflashes, etc.).
If you are on the verge of wanted to install factory ceramics, why not upgrade to the Brembo GT Kit. 16 inch front rotors, monoblock 6 piston calipers. Rear 15 inch rotrors, 4 piston calipers. Race pads available and easy rotor replacements should you ever need them.
Think this is a better option plus only $7500 for the full kit.
It will be nice when some pad options are available that work on our brakes.
