Here you go. The reservoir must be mounter between the air filter boxes right in front of the Engine control Unit.
I have a carbon fiber engine cover - look slike i'd need to drill a hole?
and about the install, when you do it, you drained the cooling fluid completely?
a few words, basically anything you'd like to share on the install process is greatly appreciated.
thanks!
No, you don't have to drill or make a hole. You just remove the engine cover fill the reservoir up and that's it. When you install the reservoir you may have to check and refill couple of time until the whole system is filled with fluid.
I didn't drain the whole system, no need to do that.
For the installation of this product at least two people are needed (for taking the bumper off)
use a lift while installation.
The front bumper has to be taken off to gain access to the hoses. take off the turbo coolers to gain more working space. Everything else must be done according to the diagrams that I've posted before. Collect all escaping coolant. Before assembly check for leaks. then install the front bumper.

Alternatively you can also order the pump from your local MB dealer with the following part number: Mercedes SLS cooling pump Part number: A 000 500 04 86 which costs around 400USD.
Connection of wires: Zero: Ground, 3 and four: Positive pole (+)
nice info! Any advantages of just upgrading the pump? Is that what renntech does, or do they add an extra res?
If you modify your ECU and add large turbochargers. You must add heat exchanger. I got mine from Weistec... Intake temperatures are low and stable even after hardcore racing.
I ask because I may use this same reservoir to divorce the intercooler on my E55.

And instal to my car E63s w212 , and i buy too water pump A0005000486.
Now i have similar setup "renntech"
Anyone khnow how install now this parts?
Here is my suggestion.
interested in seeing how the plumbing goes from the intercooler to the heat exchanger to the auxiliary heat exchanger.
