Front windshield tint halo glare issue?
Any CLS owners with a front windshield tint have issues with halo glare from lights at night?
I was thinking about having my front windshield tinted (with 3M Crystalline 70 to help cut down on the Socal heat) but the shop owner mentioned due to the prominent rake angle of the front windshield, I would see halo glare at night and that some CLS customers of his have had the front tint removed.
Any input would be appreciated.

Yes! I had my 2011 C63 front windshield tinted with a UV -ray blocker - similar to the film you listed and it did produce wierd halo effects. I got use to it. Cut heat down in the car too

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
I thought all front windshields in the States are required to be laminated glass to meet DOT regulations. The laminate is plastic, which, when combined with the glass on both sides, already effectively block 99.9% of UVA and UVB.
