Wanted to share with you guys.
Picked up new M5 yesterday. Using it for Sema show in November. Excited to see how the car wakes up once it I get it tuned +parts.

I'm sure someone will do that soon, I will have a tune and full turbo back on this with in a week or so.
Its a nice car but no CLS....I was supposed to sell the CLS for the m5 and its still around soo. I will say the suspension in the M5 is loads better.
First Tuesday need to the baseline #'s on the dyno.

I had an order for one as well but didn't want to wait and after the official unveiling I was left wanting more and still think it looks too bland. That is why I ended up ordering CLS63 instead because I thought it looked way more aggressive and is faster. I actually came from BMW and I will say that it was tighter built inside and had less squeaks and rattles the CLS which is now driving me crazy but it just forces me to always have radio on.

M5 s engine is smaller than the CLS63. How much HP does the ECU tune only add?

that CLS is so hot. very tastefully done. I like the Red interior on the M but IMO a CLS with Red interior (is there even one available?) w/ CF trim would trump it.
I think the CLS is WAY better looking than the M. Just take a look at the lines around the side windows on the CLS and compare to the M. IMO the CLS is so sleek but the M windows look so "big" lol. just my 0.02.

Rob love the car and the color combo, how does it drive vs the CLS PP stock vs stock... acceleration, rolling, handling, short turns, big bends etc
Is the DCT that much better?

Its going on the dyno today. I'll post up. I know its not Mb related but interesting none the less. A friend dyno'd his in Florida last week on a mustang and did 536hp and 505tq at the wheels. Using his dyno specs to match it with our mustang.

I do like BMW's, but I will say, even the 219 CLS looks better than the new M5, and the 218 just obliterates it in the styling department. As for performance, the M5 (apart from handling) isnt doing too hot either...
BUT, it is a nice color combo. Have fun either way. I expect some crazy stuff being done to it.

etc .... test two cars at the same time on the same dyno thats the best and most realistic way.
But then do what really counts, run them side by side in the real world...
