I had a friend with some Michellins taking up space in his garage so I relived him of them just to
See if there was any rubbing as I read 315 was the absolute max on these cars. I'm not lowered and don't plan on lowering it cause I know I'll have issues with running then, plus the ride is already stiff enough for me in comfort mode. My Forgiatos were specifically made for this car as far as offset so that may be a huge factor in why I have 0 rubbing. I just took a 300 mile round trip after mounting them this past weekend and I rubbed once but it was some serious rail roads tracks. On the inside I have at least an inch of space between the tire and the suspension. Pics as promised I need to get better ones but weather is trash right now.

Hi Guys,

is anyone running 295 Michelin PS4 on an CLS63 S 4-matic ?
The dealership is telling my friend that the ESP will go crazy if he changes the tire size from stock 285.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response hyperion. Is the 4matic CLS63 available at all?

If so, has anyone installed 305 tires in the back?

Are you having any other issues? Like the car wondering back and forth at higher speeds due to the traction/stability control programs not liking the the tire size discrepancy?

I can't really tell a difference as far as handling as I don't track it, I do however push is semi hardatound turns but it's not the best handling car to start with so really I'm not sure. It feels very similar to the 295's I had on it before but again I never go crazy with it.

Love the look of it - what are the full specs of the tires?

Really nice - what specs of the rims as well? I got some rims wanted to see if i can squeeze something like yours if i dont intend on lowering it.

based on your spec they're very close to mine I think. I'm not 100% positive on my offsets but I had Forgiato build them specifically to this yr make model and with the standnard 255/295 I hated the looki even tried to find someone to trade me wheels. Then I saw how much room I had for overlapping tire. Went with the 275/335 I think I'll go 325's next time around just cause it will lower the profile a smidge.
I think with your offset you can run the standard 255/305 "if" you drop it any, if you don't lower you can easily do 275/ 315-325 but you have to do "25" series not "30".

If i went

275/30/20 (fronts)
325/25/20 (rears) ** slightly smaller from 335 **

Would these fit onto my set

** dont plan on lowering it - wanted to get a nice meaty where it fills in the gap nicely

HRE S101
20" x 9 et36 (front)
20" x 11 et 40 (rears)

Wow.

That rear end is tough Vic. If that's a stock piece of CF down there, that's awesome!
Guess it's as wide as it looks in this pic, damn

You are correct, and actually thru some real world vids the R8 v10 Plus stock is actually faster than the Huracan (gearing, drag, etc). But the engine is really where it ends as the Audi is much much more refined and comfortable inside. The chassis feels smaller and line of sight is completely better. The new 13 inch virtual screen is awesome and its just an easy car to drive daily if one chose to. The Huracan was a "look at me" event type of car and just not as functional. It was more difficult to get in and out of too. This Audi is the perfect blend of super/sports car with a sprinkle of refinement. And that exhaust, oh man!!!!!!

Edit:

I just got this too (Im on Audi crack LOL)- 605hp stock rocketship AWD. But no 305's LOL.
