First time in the snow!
We got a decent snowfall in Toronto last week. As it was coming to an end, I had to drive for a few hours to a ski resort for a family gathering. I was nervous at first as I wasn't sure which kind of traction I would get with my car although I have proper winter tires. What a surprise...driving in C mode with ESP on all along, the drivability of the car was clearly superior to most of the other cars around me. Thanks to the weight of the car and SottoZero winter tires, the car behaved in a very predictable way with very limited wheel spinning. Changing lane in slushy areas was not a problem either. When braking, the car was quite stable. Compared to my previous C63 (also with good winter tires...Nokian), the snow driving experience was certainly much better with the CLS63. I thought it was just the weight that was helping but is it possible that the ESP is more effective on the CLS than the C63? It felt like that anyway.

Nice to see that the CLS does so well in the snow especially considering all the torque you have under foot. I would think that the Kleemann tune would make winter driving a bit hairy.
So is the new power still working flawlessly? I have been dragging my feet deciding on who to use for ECU tuning.

The Kleemann tune kicks in when I'm more aggressive on the gas pedal. Otherwise, it has no impact.
And yes, I'm still quite happy with my tune. Every day you wait is a day you miss the Joy of Power Not a big difference among the reputable tune shops anyway...pick one and go!
