What are recommended tire sizes for 20's?

I am going to be getting Vossen CV3's....so 20x9 in front and 20x10.5 in back.

I assume 255/30/20 in front....I am thinking 295/25/20 in back? I am figuring 305 might be a stretch (they are Hankook Ventus V12's).

My only issue is potholes...we have a lot around here. Would it even be possible to run 30 series in the rears? I've popped quite a few 25 series tires in the past around here...want to avoid it if I can.

If you are stuck with 10.5's then 295 is ideal but with the Hankooks you could run 305's as they are a more rounded sidewall and wont be as tall as lets say a PSS in 305 width...

295 would be my choice.

If you run 30 series in the rear then you need to run 35's up front and you just increased the diameter of the set up. This can work but if you are lowered you might have issues.

I was told 30s in the rear would rub.....so i went with 30s in the front and 25 rears.

As Vic said....Hankooks are supposedly a bit off measurement-wise (which might be due to the roundness)...so a 305 in that tire might be the same as a normal 295. I went with the Hankook 295s just in case.
