Weistec Engineering M157 Turbo and Downpipe/Exhaust Upgrade-Pictures!!!
Weistec Engineering is pleased to release the M157 AMG Turbo Upgrade. We have developed proprietary aerodynamics designed to optimize extreme pressure operation of the M157. The results are astonishing gains resulting in as much as 730 wheel horsepower.
Constructed of billet aluminum, our 7 blade, 71mm impeller wheel is 5-axis CNC machined and flows 53+ lbs/min of air. The light weight impeller design and latest machining technology results in very short spool up times and great overall power. Tailored for use exclusively with the factory M157 Garrett gt22 frame makes this a 100% bolt-on installation. No custom oil and water lines to leak, no headaches. Every factory line connects right to the new turbo, using factory gaskets.

Weistec Engineering offers True Downpipes for M157 AMG and M278 powered vehicles. Replacing the small and restrictive factory downpipes delivers significant gains in power, throttle response, and exhaust tone.
Engineered and designed with the most sophisticated Computer Aided Design tools, excellent fitment and the highest performance possible are guaranteed. Each downpipe has a specially designed CNC machined turbo outlet flange, transitioning into a 3 inch pipe and low profile V-Band flanges to mate with our Midpipes.
Downpipes come standard with external Titanium Ceramic Coating and internal Copper Ceramic coating to keep heat inside the piping, helping improve exhaust velocity and reduce engine bay temperatures.
Branded Weistec stainless steel heat shields are also included to block rising heat from the exhaust manifold.
Our Biturbo Midpipes bolt to the Downpipes using a low profile V-Band flange and transition to the factory axle-back. Each Mid-pipe has stainless steel brackets for solid bolt-in fitment and is made of 3 inch stainless steel piping creating a very high flowing quality exhaust system.
Complete exhaust system includes Downpipes, Test Pipes, Midpipes, Heat Shields, Gaskets, and Hardware.

Can't wait till someone installs this on new 4matic versions coming soon lol easy sub 3 sec 0-60 these new AMG's are goin to smash a lot of egos

Car magazines have gotten 3.2 seconds 0 to 60 MPH for the 2012 model Porsche Panamera Turbo S.....and this car produces way more power than that....so is high 2's plausible? 1/4 in mid 10's? Low 10's?

How much ~ is the entire system to get over 700WHP?
btw, that heat shield is the dumbest thing i've ever seen. why provide a heat shield then compromise its insulating capability by cutting out your logo? you're basically admitting that you care more about vanity than functionality. on top of that, no one will ever even see the logo.
