WHO HAS DONE A COOLING TRUNK TANK RESEVOIR..
I HAD ONE IN MY CTSV AND IT MADE A HELLA DIFFRENCE. I TALKED TO SERGE AT BENZWORKS AND HES GOT ONE THAT WORKS FOR THE CLS AND MAKES GOOD POWER. ANYONE HAVE ONE OR KNOW ANYONE WITH ONE .

Noobie questions here. What OEM part does this replace or enhance? Is the purpose to keep the engine running colder than standard?
Would just changing the thermostat achieve the same thing?

I dont have a cls but its the same concept, you have about 5 more gallons cooling the the cars iats so you make more power consistently plus when at the track u can pack full of ice and drain out the hot water every run.
I will be doing this as well when i get my cls, cooling is very very important imo. do it ur car will love it especially if u live in a very hot climate like myself

What am I missing? The thermostat controls when the fan comes in to cool the car down. If it starts at a lower temperature, it will keep your water temperature down. Obviously not as good as the reservoir but I would venture to say that it is achieving the same goal.
If I am incorrect, I am happy to to learn.
