As far as what Vic said about the KW kit, I have the same thing and love it. So at the least you have two endorsements for a cost effective way to lower your car. Can you post a pic of your car, I've always wondered what color it was and am trying to imagine what wild colors would go with it!

so in reagrds to negative camber.........in addition to the things you mentioned Vic, what can I do to address that? a camber kit? this is one main reason I've always been weary of the drop

There'll be no acceptance here until you go lower. You're like the kid on the block that is afraid to give up his training wheels......... expect bullies like Vic to continue the torment.

Hyperion,
Just dropped by to see what was up with the big boys and their toys. I'll throw my hat in with the others on lowering. Every time you walk up to your car it's sooo worth it.
I see you have another skater video going. Though you might get a kick out of these old pics from the 80s There weren't any sidewalks in Alpine, OR, and apperently I'm nuts.

The common misnomer is that camber is the major contributor to tire wear; its actually toe. I run negative camber on all my cars- none of which is detrimental to driveability or tire wear.

your drop will not have enough negative camber to truly affect your tires- in fact you will enjoy the slight neg camber more in the turns. What you will need to do after the drop is make sure the toe is set correctly; which you can do even when dropped.

I've got the KW Sleeve kits in stock
As long as you don't have the PP there's no issue with ride quality
If you want to do H&R Springs up front with the adjustable links in the rear that's always an option and is WAY cheaper then buying a module just to lower the rear.
The HRE's look beautiful by the way!

Couldn't log in from home last night....
It seems to be a preference thing, we don't mind it because we lower and stiffen up most of our cars. It seems like people that are into lowering for just the aesthetics feel it is too stiff.

That couldn't be further from the truth. I lowered it for aesthetics and love it.

Anyone who thinks a CLS63 is anything else than a GT Cruiser is fooling themselves. Hell my 997.2TT is a GT cruiser.
