I thought of a blood red too, but not sure how that would be with the red calipers............then I though some shade of green maybe......
then a gloss grey would be sweet......like a lighter shade, maybe
not talking about the P41's but the P40SC's

No, your posts remind me of getting my period. Each picture of your wheels gives me cramps.

nah man, I was not really directing my disappointment at you Matt........
yes true, I have bashed things in the past, but they were ADV as you mentioned......we all hate them haha.....
it's just I thought more of this place as a 'safe' place to experiment and try new things without being flamed and belittled........
I though it would have played out differently......yeah, no one-on the forums- thinks much of them........but all the other BS that came with that
was just low brow to me.......

it's like people want to always 'one up' someone on the insult meter........
even a moderator got in on the bashing........two actually......

it's one thing to say "aw man, not feeling it" it's another to just be a dick about it

it isn't a battle I'm likely to win either.......especially since my car is on 19's and not dropped, tuned or tinted

How about something very subtle? Like a really dark blue.

I'll say it again - IMO, these cars already are gorgeous and they need just subtle mods. Bright blue/red/green/any color belong on boy racer STI's/EVO's/Civics/Cobalt/etc. Regardless, if you like the brighter wheels, keep 'em! At the end of the day it's your car

not a bad idea, and the one with rivets looks good too......
not opposed to darker blue at all, I'm thinking a glossy grey for the 40sc's....kind of like that nice mellow grey Porsche has, forget the color, not meteor, but the other one

I have not seen any of those cars you mentioned around my way........might just be the east coast, but the response has been really positive in regards to the car...
it is beautiful, and especially with the aero parts........

As long as you like them, that's all that really matters at the end of the day.

Glossy grey would be nice. Try it out, edit a picture and see what you like.

I don't know. There isn't much car culture in the city I'm in, but you do see nice cars here and there. You also see the occasional Civic with a fart can exhaust, or my favorite the Audilier (Chevy cavalier with Audi badging ), or cars that are just done poorly. But, hey, if you like the modifications you make to your car, stick with it! It makes the car you. We mostly have rust bucket cars here, they salt the crap out of the roads, so you'll usually see crap cars (or winter beaters) here most of the time.

As I posted when you first told use about you getting the wheels this color, you can always get them refinished. If you like them that's great, you will definitely get noticed.

I gotta say the wheel colour is very unique & wild. It really takes someone with a bold personality to pull this off, and props to u for doing it & defending ur taste.

It's obviously not for everyone taste, but I really like the finish. HRE did a great job on the brushed with blue tint & I appreciate that.

Too bad ur car is not black or blue, it would match better.. But it's all about personal taste in modding.

The new toy is great, it has it's own fan club. Every time I drive it people of all ages are taking pictures of it. I move my middle daughter to Newark, Delaware for college a few weeks ago and the kids made a point to come over and get a look at this beast. Even older individuals (men and women in their 60s) have been caught peeking in the windows, some guy was telling me about the car (not knowing it was mine) and talking about how many pictures he's taken. So I would say that the new toy is very popular.
