CLS63 BiTurbo Dust Free Brake Pads
We had Project Mu in Japan custom make us some brake pads for the new BiTurbo cars. These pads fit the E63 and the CLS63.
We were so sick of the brake dust on these cars we decided that we needed a really great replacement brake pad. After looking at the price point on the factory pad, the lack of availability with aftermarket pads and the performance that AMG owners expect, we decided to go with Project Mu out of Japan. If you do not know who Project Mu is, they are a Japanese company that is known for making some of the best friction material in the world.
We have these pads on the shelf and ready to go.

We have a Wurth spray that we spray the brakes with and we also use a high temp. anti-seize from Wurth with them and they do not squeak when we use those products.
I was hoping that Wurth could have supplied us with the chemicals in individual containers so that i can include them with the kit but they don't sell them that way.
I recommend having them installed at a Euro shop that uses the Wurth products because they work very well on these applications. I am sure that many other products work just as well, the Wurth products are just what we use.

how does this price compare to Akebono's?

I have no idea how much Akebonos are for these cars. I know that they make them for the older AMG's I don't know about these ones. I'm sure if Akebono makes them they will be pretty cheap because those are made using metallic or ceramic materials that are very low cost.
