2014 or 2015 GT-R is next. My daughter is out of rear facing car seat now so I can move back to a coupe. Already have speced the car seat for the GT-R rear seat. I also have the ML diesel as the primary family hauling vehicle (soon to be upsized to the GL). I do need 4 seats though so the coupe can be used at lest some times for kid duty.
I thought about the 991 TTS but I just I don't want to pay 200K for a new car, especially one that with styling that is so yesterday (or iconic if you are a 911 die hard).
Let me know if you know of anyone who might be interested in my car. Its super clean etc.

If I buy a 991TTS it will be yours when it is a 1 to 2 years old and you are on to the next thing. By that point the steepest part of the depreciation curve will have occurred. Looks like 2012 997.2 TTSs can be had with under 10k miles now for $120Kish so I am hoping the 991TTSs will be at $130 ish 2 years old. But then again the great prices on the 997s are likely as a result of the new 991s having been released.
On the GT-R, I could be convinced to make a different choice if you would part with your C63 Black!
I really don't know what people see in the P-car. Agreed it is faster than hell with PDK but the lack of sensory feedback is just a deal killer for me. I agree the GTR or the BS or an M6 would be my pick around the low 100K range.
At the $175K range, I would rather buy a new Audi R8 V10 or AM Vantage V12 or slightly used Ferrari California, Scuderia, Lambo 550-2 or Bentley Supersport especially if you already have a daily driver.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The 991 chassis is an enormous advancement over the 996 and 997- add in the turbo power and rear wheel steering and Im entirely excited as to what it can do on the track and street. Oh its also a daily driver which a lambo and ferrari are not. I literally put 20k on my 997.1TT and only changed the oil 4x's. You can brutalize the car and thats what I want. I cant have a garage queen like an F car but thats me. Oh I cant insure on it either LOLOLOL. But I actually think Im going to keep my 991 GT3 slot and get that car before the turbo. My slot is for May of 2014. The GT3 is going to be the best driver's car of 2014 IMHO.
I have not driven the GTR so I can't speak about it other than the book reading.

Anyways I owned it (2 997's)--- drove the crap out of it in high speed turns, bends, sharp curves and you can push the car and even slide it with the proper throttle push. All you have to do is turn off PSM- electronics are for GTR's LOL. There is far more feed back in a carrera chassis than that of a C63 or almost any amg. But your mileage varied in your shorter experience-- so be it.
sorry Pgordon for the jack.
such a quick whippy car: 480hp
I am not debating that full on, the P car is amazing and has the torque but as a daily driver, an AMG with 590 pound available at 3,000 rpm makes it a better experience.
Bring back a 928 with the V8 turbo engine with PDK at 600hp and I am in

I did work for Roush that time when we put about 1,500 miles comparing the PTT, Gallardo and F430 and had to daily log our thoughts on the cars.
The PTT just did not feel like it has that much on tap. The butt dyno is obviously wrong but I wonder if the gearing had something to do. It felt like you needed to wait at least 1 sec till the boost came in.
I did pick the PTT as the overall winner in that test and probably the reason why they did not invite me to future testing as this was sponsored by Ferrari lol.
As a side note, the Gallardo was last by a mile due to its poor build quality and sub par transmission.
I need to go drive a new 991 PTT
.Bump for a good deal on this CLS.

... not to mention I was able to go soooo deep into the hole under braking for a corner in my 997TT ... I wish I would still own mine ... just to strap emericr into the passenger seat and show him the difference between keyboard driving and real world driving

Another bump for the OP
My issue is daily drivability not when you go full throttle.
GL with your potential buyers. They are getting a great deal.
