How much do the M5s go for as tier 1? You think I can lease it under $1300? Pert I know you dont like answering to this kind of questions but I'm gonna need a new toy car right after the winter and not sure if it's worth it staying with mb or switching to the dark side

There actually is one with this setup and it was the reason I decided to go with these wheels and finish. The guys car looks amazing. It's on the HRE site: black on black on black M5

Here's what to you have to understand about Jeremy...he's a product of generations of inbreeding among mountain people. Jeremy also has to put Mercedes center caps on his wheels because HRE begged him so that people wouldn't associate their wheels with his car. What people don't understand is that Jeremy's wife/sister prefers the smooth ride of being driven in a Mercedes on 17" wheels. It reminds her of the time when she and a Jeremy drove to a family reunion deep in the words of North Carolina to announce their engagement. Now, the country roads were really rough, but because Jeremy insists on keeping 17" wheels on his car, the drive was smooth as silk. I have to cut Jeremy a lot of slack because as a slack-jawed inbred hill person, he doesn't full understand exactly what he's saying. Is it because his parents met at a family reunion? Possibly. Is it because his trailer house sits on an abandoned asbestos factory? Perhaps. But what I think it is, is that Jeremy can't stand when other people's cars get attention and his CLS550 doesn't. So he makes jokes about me and Vic and Rock. But I'm not mad. If my DNA had been warped by decades of intermarriage and the lack of a school system within 50 miles of my asbestos trailer home, I'd react just like Jeremy. So please, give him props on his CLS550. He needs it. And maybe one day we can raise enough donations to get him to upgrade to 18" wheels.

It keeps me up every night. It's torn my family apart. It's even caused one government shutdown. Thanks for the compliments otherwise. In all seriousness, the CLS63's torque does make that car a monster and the M5 just doesn't have that attribute. I love the car but there are some things I miss about the AMG. Oh well...

Absolutely! For example, my m3 has a lot of bark, but the bite is nowhere near what the C63 has. And if you were judging a beauty contest, the CLS63 would beat the M5. And with the Brabus exhaust and downpipes my M5 pales in comparison to how the CLS63 sounded. Love my Ms but they have their limitations. You look at a Black/Black CLS63 (Vics, E-Stickity, yours, whatever) they look a lot more intimidating than the M5 ever will. But the deals I came across were too good to pass up. And cars are fungible assets. So who knows, maybe I'll switch back one day if MBFS learns to not lose $10k checks!

OK guys I get it--- lets move on. We allow members to post pics of other rides (especially competitors) in the standard forums. Hyp your thread (Pcar) was never moved and countless others (including mine) but the immature dialogue between both of you has to stop. Further, Hyp you violated the TOU with PM posting here. Its a private message for a reason and its clearly dictated in the TOU- this is fact and not a subjective opinion whereas both your insults against each other are up for interpretation.
So just stop with the personal attacks (both) thanks.
Pert love the wheels, the car, the color, etc.... its really a great car I just couldnt get over the chassis and weight in the car and they way it felt. I think Porsche did an amazing job with the Panamera really countering the weight with proper chassis bolstering and suspension mating.
HYP- Im still an AMG owner but its funny that you stated what Im getting (I know it was tongue in cheek against pert but ironic) and Im going to be acquiring AMG #8 in about 1 week... you can guess if you like but it might surprise you
