RENNtech ECU Upgrade CLS 63 (C218- 669 HP / 734 TQ for M157)

RENNtech M157 Biturbo ECU Upgrades are TÜV approved!

Purchase on our site:
https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ail&PID=282863

Our proprietary ECU upgrade for the Mercedes M157 engine offers huge gains in performance across the entire RPM range without sacrificing around town comfort or daily driver reliability.

Our ECU tune offers the biggest performance gains on the market with our dyno results increasing performance from 556 HP and 550 lb/ft torque, to an astonishing 669 HP and 734 lb/ft at the crank! This allows the CLS 63 to run the quarter mile on D.O.T. street tires in an impressive 11.3 seconds at 125 mph with 0-60 mph coming in a mere 3.4 seconds.

Equipped with drag radials on the CLS we were able to achieve an even more impressive quarter mile time. The CLS was able to rocket down the drag strip; clocking a quarter mile time of 10.9 seconds @ 129 mph with 0-60 mph coming in 3.2 seconds!

Note: We have found the new M157 engine stock performance numbers vary from the baseline figures claimed by Mercedes Benz. We typically see slightly higher baseline numbers than claimed by the factory.

CLS 63 (C218) Stock Performance (Without Performance Package):

518 HP @ 5500 RPM; 516 LB-FT @ 4800 RPM

Modified Performance (Without Performance Package):

669 HP @ 5500 RPM; 734 LB-FT @ 3800 RPM

CLS 63 (C218) Stock Performance (With Performance Package):

550 HP @ 5500 RPM; 590 LB-FT @ 4800 RPM

Modified Performance (With Performance Package):

669 HP @ 5500 RPM; 734 LB-FT @ 3800 RPM

There is a reason that certain tunes are priced higher than others as you typically get what you pay for with software.

The Research and Development that is put into this software is next to none and is one of the "safest" proven ways to make power with most applications. The engines and software are tested under very harsh conditions until it is proven what is safe and what is right for the vehicle.

In addition, the support and backing from a reputable vendor such as RENNTECH is next to none.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

theres a vid on youtube where a 2015 cls63 with renntech tune put down barely 500 whp.

thats what they should put down STOCK. the uploader of the video said how he was disappointed with the dyno results.

i wont be getting a renntech tune. its a rip off.

there are better tunes for less money, such as AMS.

How could you be so sure that it wasn't a competitor to Renntech posting it ? Was the dyno calibrated correctly ? Were both dynos the same dyno?
What was the ambient air temperature outside? What was the altitude?

There are many things that can play a factor into "dunno" numbers.

Never know until you try it!

I am sorry you have been affected by hearsay and videos. We sell many different tuning options for almost all Mercedes models. Renntech more times than one, being the most reputable. If you have any further concerns please email us at Info@GMPperformance.com We have installed plenty of Renntech ecu upgrades and parts, and to my knowledge have never had issues with a tune. Which, in step, is why were are promoting the sale of their products here today. Here are all the Mercedes vehicles we have worked on.

Do you have approx mpg numbers that can still be achieved (with a light foot)?

Curious because a fair share of my miles are highway and while I love to stomp on it, I also find myself taking quite a few
200+ mile trips on the highway at mundane speeds

Unfortunately these are not published or recorded, however it would depend on how your drive the vehicle ! The best part about the tune is if you monitor your fuel mileage before and after the tune it typically in some cases will bump it up a few MPG

Please let me know when your ready to tune it!
