Hi guys,

this is Alex from Germany.

I just bought a DESIGNO CLS 63 AMG 2012 modell with performance package - still stock everything but surely not too long.

Just wanted to introduce myself first here

Congrats on the purchase. Jealous in a good way of your ability to go as fast as you can on your highways. I have reached 300+ a few times and it is amazing

Thanks, yes I have such a no limit Highway in 3km proximity, so I find myself testing the 300kmh almost everyday, more dependent on traffic than anything else :-)

I am thinking to get the kleemann tune, looks like best bang for the buck, or I may go crazy and hit alpha 9 from ams, haven't decided yet, open for anyone's 2 cents

I suggest you start with a tune and go from there. A tune on these cars really wakes the beast

Thanks man , yes I guess so too.

What about splitting the intercooler systems, I found another thread here and it's basically just two parts from Mercedes and a different pump, has anyone done it and is it a crucial on let's say pretty recommended mod?

For us on hot weather, it is a crucial mod especially if you are going to tune the car. The computer will pull timing if the temp is too high.
I have a 13 so even with the updated OEM system, it still sometimes seem like the car is not giving me everything it has when it's really hot outside.
I have considered upgrading the pump but have not pulled the trigger yet.

i am looking to do the cooling splitting thing and get a kleemann tune and + turbo pipe kit

kleemann states +70 hp with their turbo pipe kit

I should hit 700+ hp with that setup then
