Facebook groups are the new thing and made forums obsolete. I started one for Las Vegas (www.facebook.com/groups/vegasmbz) and we're up to 150 members in 2-3 weeks.

Compared to bimmerpost.com MBWorld is dead.

 

It's been overrun with people trying to hawk ugly wheels and useless carbon fiber junk. Haven't seen a single post on delivery of the new face lifted CLS yet. I was curious to hear an owners impression on the MCT updates that supposedly make it not as awful compared to its peers.

Agreed. I'm surprised that no one has yet posted delivery of the new 2015 CLS. Really a fantastic looking AMG. I'm going to look at this one tomorrow:

 

I've yet to see one in the flesh, but they look great of course I just tucked mine in for the week

 

What changes have been made to the 15' other than cosmetic?

 

I dunno Rock, they look a little too beefy for my taste. I feel if you're going to go that big, might as well do the new S63. Or even the S63 Coupe.

 

Here are some items that I believe are new:

1. New front and rear fascia.


2. New wheel options:


3. The all new multibeam active full-LED headlamps that are filled with cool technology.


4. AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission. AMG modified both the hardware and software to make the transmission faster than before.

5. New aluminum shift paddles behind the AMG steering wheel.

6. The latest iteration of its COMAND infotainment system.


If you're Little Vic, then I'm Embryo Vic. Love that car but too rich for me.

Yep---- amazing ride- not as good as the 458 but more usable on a daily basis if needed.

Congrats on the GT3 I was riding along with one he other day and it sounded and looked great. Needless to say, I went home and looked up local inventory until my wife caught me, lol (shameless car **** addiction)

 

Yes, it's been quiet.
Wish people with new 15 CLS would post their pics and thoughts as well.
I have been interested in the new Z06 and been following deliveries on their forum. Want to talk about overload lol. New threads are born every few minutes over there.

 

I really like these wheels. I think they would look good on my E550.

I agree, the minute I saw them I got very excited.....finish is a bit bright for me in that color though

 

Brightness aside, I like these better in this color then the stock 10 spoke. Plus it's it's nearly the same color.

 

Thanks man, its about as perfect a car as there can be, for me that is. Its a race car on the street even moreso than the BS and its faster too. I really love the sound of the car, its so different than any of the other beasts I have or had. The 458 is the overall better car but this car has more a real world use to it. Find a way to schmooze your wife into giving you the seal of approval....
