Did you buy the extended warranty? CPO opinions?
I'm looking to buy a used 2014 or 2015 cls 63 amg, but I have never owned a MB before and I am worried about mechanical issues.
I am looking for a CPO, but of course it is hard to find something I like, with under 20k miles, and at a reasonable price.
I've found a 2015 with around 27k miles that isn't CPO, and I am worried if that is the right move. I will be putting around 15k a year on it, and don't want to walk into a long term expense problem fixing it.
Do you suggest spending the extra money and waiting to find a CPO that fits me, or do you think buying a used one still under warranty, and buying additional coverage is the best route?
Do you think 30k miles instead of 20k will make that big of a difference?

Didn't think the prices were that high for the 2 years. That seems excessive. The 2015 has everything I was looking for (all the options, black rims, rare red interior). Haven't seen anything else like it. Price is alright but I think I can do a little better than listed. Dealer gave me the carfax, it was involved in a small accident with bumper repair. Tires are at about 60%. He gave me the carfax. What do you guys think? For the price is it a fair deal? Should I be worried about the warranty as much as I am?

car is super nice!!!! Just get it and enjoy it!! U can always add the extended mb warranty before the factory one expires. I added another year of warranty 3 days before my factory one expired. They let u finance it 0 interest. I paid like 500 down and 240 a month.. It was worth the piece of mind to me to keep the car anothe year worry free.
The warranty paid for itself one month later as I had the car getting washed at my office and the battery died due to the guy leaving the switch on.. When I jump started it the whole A/C control unit fried and short circuited. Had it taken to the dealer amd replaced.. 3,800 job.. Cost me 0.00. Just get the car its bad **** enjoy it!! Then figure out the rest later.. Buy it before it sells!! The color combo is sick.. Good luck!!

We just bought a 2014 ML350 with 30+k on the clock. The dealer offered us $3.500.00 for the addl 2 years IF we bought on the spot. Full refund if we traded or sold the car before the 2 year period started. They said if we did not buy on the spot, it would be an add'l 15% if we decided to buy at a later date. Good to know we can shop this around when the time comes. I did that with my 2013 Durango R/T and got a Mopar warranty on line from a dealer in Wisconsin. I know it is valid because the details showed up immediately on my owners page.
