Power steering fluid location??
I feel like an idiot for even asking this, but where is the power steering fluid reservoir on a '13 CLS 63?
Ive had the hood open for 20 minutes and I can't seem to find it.
Thanks for your help.

Newer CLS' are electric, but mine is hydraulic. 100% sure. I'm thinking since the vehicle has active body control that perhaps the fluid reservoir looks different.
It's silly to go to the dealer for something like this, but I guess I'll bring the fluid with and have them top it off.

What???? Who is giving you this information? starting from 2012 with the new CLS body the car has electronic steering and there is no such thing as active body control on the cls. Cls63s have front springs and rear airbags while non amgs have airmatic.

According to the dealer after running my VIN and confirming.

If you do indeed drive a 2013 CLS63, then the person you spoke with, is either retarded or was looking at another vin.
Edit: I am not trying to be a dick, its just crazy a dealer would tell you this. You can lookup the vin yourself on a vin decoding website and know what your car has but hydraulic power steering and ABC is not one of those things.

There's a very slight "whine" that occurs when fully turning the wheel either way at parking lot speeds. On previous cars I've been able to fix this by topping up the power steering fluid, so I figured I'd start there.

Ok well there is no power steering reservoir in the car. You need the dealer or an indy to diagnose the problem, might be a simple software update for the electronic steering module or something suspension related. Here is a video showcasing the removal of the electric power steering, different car but the procedure is same for the cls.

Thanks for posting the video. Geez, this looks like a nightmare. The noise is ever so slight and I'm willing to bet that I'm the only one that will notice it (at this point).
