Carbon Ceramic Brakes

Update,

Had the dealership complete the rebidding process reduced a lot of the noise however the squeak still sometimes is audible.

Hello AMG Family,

Previously an owner of CLK550, I've since converted over to a '14 CLS63sAMG PP.

My w218 has been great since I've had her and been a lot of fun to own thus far. This week she started to create a squeal/squeak sound when applying the brakes. I'm wondering has anyone with the Carbon Ceramic option encountered this issue. I have an appointment with Keenan Mercedes Benz in Doylestown, PA. I hope they can give me some sort of relief.

Disk crazing

got a gts with the cc break package, love them. Noticed that all the disks upon very close inspection have hairline Snyder webbing across the disks. I have to believe this is normal for the CC disks. Anyone confirm?

Yep, they all look like that with the CCB rotors.

Yes, spider webs on the rotors are normal.

FYI, I would advise you to not use any type of cleaner or soapy suds on the carbon ceramics when the soap dries on the rotors or brakes they start to squeak very loudly. Best way to avoid this is to power was with water only.
