I noticed that this forum is fairly quiet especially the w218 AMG crowd. I'll share my experience with everyone on this new project I'm working on.
This will be my first Benz. I had always been a BMW guy for the past 10 years.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the benz fam but im sorry my friend this is NOT a c63 there is a huge difference. You will soon learn and appreciate these differences. hope you enjoy your first benz perhaps an AMG will be in your future

I have the amg-s version so I think there isn't much available for tune wise; I'm leaning towards AMS, cheaper than Renntech. I would go with Eurocharge as well but I dont think theres a tune for my year but I could be wrong. Where in Mass are you from? We could do a meet up.

Dude..Its like we have the same brain. I was shooting to get an ams tune aswell as compared to the renntech (more expensive). I also checked out Eurocharged and they promise good values but I havent seen any performance videos like AMS. I just bought my 2012 CLS63 2 months ago and the car is a beast. However, I also seek to tune it to about 700whp if possible. I live in Andover, MA like 30 mins from Boston. Whereabouts are you from?

Im currently in Waltham. I have a performance shop in Peabody, MA called Proper Performance. We tried getting dealer info for AMS but unfortunately its too close to Bren-tuning and Kaizen (no longer in business). So I would have to hit up the guys from Brent Tuning in Upton, MA if I want to do the AMS tune.
You should look up the Eurocharge tune- lots of guys who have the 2012 get them after doing some research. You can always dyno it after the tune, theres a place down the street from Peabody.

Waltham is not far from me. We could definitely do a meet and greet. A lot of guys go with Eurocharged especially when they have specials going on. If I end up going with Eurocharged, then Ill definitely dyno my car at your shop to see if I am getting the promised stats. I am thinking sometime around the summer, I will do my tune. I will keep you posted. Do you have an instagram page for your car?

why do you say this? You have a 2015 CLS63 right? It’s an m157 all the major tuners can tune your car it’s the same engine

the S is essentially the same engine just a more powerful tune from factory (increased psi) so yeah all tuners can tune yours as well and since you’re in Boston you should give brentuning a call they are great tuners the owner has an e63s and he did my tune as well he can answer all your questions

This stupid snow keeps falling but I am down to have a meet any day the snow clears. Since I am low on finance now, I will slowly mod my car from now up until the summer and I will keep you guys posted with anything I do.

Hey Wassup Terence? You are the second person I know from Boston area who has the CLS 63. The shop I'm affiliated with is getting the dealer for Eurocharged- its based out of Peabody, MA.
I'm going to tune it with them...can't beat the price. I guess I can be the guinea pig; going to do pre dyne without tune and post dyno with the tune to see if its exactly what they are claiming.

You guys are obviosuly adults and can make your own decisions but just be aware that Brentuning has not been too reputable around here.
The owner did have a E63 AMG so maybe he perfected those but i know of a M5 and 550 cars that both have ben ruined by them.
This was a few years back so maybe they stepped their game up. Just a heads up and do some research thats all im saying
