Need help with tire sizes
Hey guys, need help with tire sizes. Just purchased 20” wheels for my 2012 CLS550 original tires are 255/35/19 Front and 285/30/19 back. The new rims are 20” and the offsets are 20 Front and 25 at the back. What size of tires should I use for those offsets? I don’t what the tires to rub the fender. Thank you

Actually, Offset matters very much. I don't know what the exact offset is for the CLS OE wheels, but I am pretty sure that they are NOT as low as +20. The further out you are pushing your wheels / lower the offset you wanna go with, the more stretch you'll be require to have on your tires to allow the set up to mount on your car.... unless you are modding your fenders. A 255 width tire will mount just fine on a 9" width wheel. However, if you push the wheel out by 15mm, it MAY rub on the inside of the fender.

To maintain 100% stock diameter when going from 19" to 20", one should go 255/30 front and 295/25 rear. However, on 10" et25 wheels, 295 will slightly poke, so 285/25 will be rubbing free as was suggested above.
Due to wider front fenders (as compared to already wide fender of non-AMG C218, and to relatively wide W212 E63 front fenders), CLS63 can take even lower front offset than et20 and/or even wider front tires without rubbing (generally speaking, does not really apply to OP since he's limited on front by rear's offset).
