Option detail: 2014 CLS63 S v. E63S
HERES THE ANSWER: IT'S DISTRONIC PLUS WITH "STEERING ASSIST." My 2014 E63S had it, my CLS does not. BUMMER! It would drive itself around corners, keeping my lane nearly all the time, until the "red hands" showed up and I had to touch the wheel again. My 2014 CLS63S doesn't seem to do this, dealer flashed the latest Distronic Plus software in today. Same chassis, same year, how do i find yhe SPECIFIC options my CLS should have, and what the indications are. Mine is a North Amerca build, but first sold in Canada. Ik about the "foot under the rear bumper" on the E class, and instead the CLS' mirrors fold in, like later E class 63s. Any ideas, Peeps? Thank you!

I have a 15CLS63 with the options you’re referring to. Where the car takes the curves for you automatically. But I think ur looking for someone with a 14 CLS63 right?

I was told by another member it was 2015 -- you can see the change between 2014 and 2015 on the CLS63 S Model. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2015...85-hp-s-model/
I had a 2014 E63, they year they changed the E63 completely, with sleeker body mouldings. perhaps that's when the E got "steering assist." Now another 2015 CLS 63 owner says he HAS this feature, so my latest theory is that it was tied to the body changes made in 2015. See the link above. Like Porsche, Benz seems to tweak ONE sub-model in any given year. Pretty sure it was 2015, according to Motor Trend. Thanks!
