CF rear diffuser.

Ur crazy man! I feel like it’s so much meaner from the back after putting the diffuser on. I just want that euro rear light in the diffuser. That thing is the final touch

It is certainly meaner, mine was cracked and looked like shiot, also why I removed the front splitter....no longer was it balanced looking......now I have the CF mirror shells that look out of place to me too.

Just noticing that you have new signature Hey, how much lower does RT front lip look? I really like the style but have a concern for its clearance. The 3-piece was a snap on with screws and tape, right?

I AM liking the stock look though, I can actually see the exhaust tips again LOL! They are dirty AF though And yes: screws and taped on.....I have holes now that it's removed

How much did you pay to get the RT diffuser installed? I got 2 quotes $100 from a body shop doing lots of MB, BMW, Porsche and another quote for $400 at a custom shop doing lots a high end car as well. The $300 difference confuses me

Don't pay to have it installed. It literally goes on in minutes with a drill and screwdriver. You need one drill bit for 4 pilot holes and then put in four 1/2" screws. Entire process is less than 10 minutes with the most basic of hand tools. You could even do it without the drill with self tapping screws.

Maybe it's because your diffuser has been installed on your car for a long time, its shape has already bent to fit the bumper's curve. The new diffuser won't fit that perfectly, especially the after market one; just like the issue you had with your AF-1. I wish/hope it's easy as you said but I doubt about it. Thank you man.

Don't take your bumper off. You want the diffuser to be shaped to it, not the other way around. Force the diffuser to the bumper shape and then secure it. If you go the other way you risk tearing out your new diffuser mounting points when you put the bumper back on and have to get those mounting points lined up to the car. The af-1 I put on was just poor quality. With the two pieces side by side you can see the differences in the fit and finish of the mounting points. I've done aftermarket body parts on a lot of different cars for years and the construction of the mounting points will always tell you the quality of the rest of part. The pleasantly surprising part about the af1 was that it had an excellent surface finish. Now that I've gotten it to the shape I want I'm super pleased with it. The Rt style one is a better made piece that had that shape already and could be easily put on and taken off. The af1 will hopefully never need to come off.

Thank you for the important tips. You have years of experience installing body parts on cars that's why it's so easy for you. I have never done this before so I don't even know where to start. I guess I need to google on how to remove the OEM diffuser first. Thanks again.

Replaced the straight pipes with a longer set, I am now able to see the AMG tips again. Resonator delete should be done after the CF diffuser installed, that way you won't pay twice like I did :-) Oh well, I am happy with the look now, that's all mater to me.
