Question Strong Oil scent
Lads!

2012 CLS63.........upon turning my car off, the oil smell.......it's strong! Obviously a leak but no drips or evidence on the ground under the car. Anyone have this happen and actually find a leak? No oil light comes up, although car does seem to run hotter at times despite the cooler air temperatures as of late.
Any suggestions/thoughts?

Mine had a small leak at the timing chain covers. Also never enough to get on the ground, but it does coat enough surfaces. It wasn't a cheap repair.

I too had a leak similar to what you describe and had it fixed a couple of years ago. WOnder if it's something similar. Thanx for the reply
