dead battery charging
Hi all,
My 2016 cls 550 sat for a couple of weeks and no start. Is it ok to put a trickle charger on it? Does this need to be a MB approved unit? Im in Canada and have a Canadian Tire Nautilus Intelligent battery charger that I have used numerous times on boats and other vehicles.

A trickle charger (battery maintainer) will take a couple days to recharge a depleted battery. You don't need to use a MB branded charger. Buy something like Noco's 10 amp unit that can recharge your battery in half a day and also maintain your battery during extended periods of non-use.
