Yeah I know, oil additives are a no-no for Mercedes, I should RTFM. But about 3 months ago I squirted in a sachet of that 'nano technology' stuff, now I have a nasty ticking sound which sounds like clackety tappets. Obv. I will do a swift engine flush and oil and filter change but could it have done any serious damage? No warning lights on the dash or anything.
