2012 CLS63 Jerky Acceleration
Hello,
I have had this issue for 2+ years. Tried everything and not able to fix it. I have tried different shops and no one has an answer.
Basically the car has really terrible acceleration especially in stop and go traffic.
This only happens when I press the gas pedal like 5-10%, if I push it a lot the problem doesn't occur.
The car jerks like crazy and you can actually see the RPM needle going up and down. It feels like the car is moving back for fourth and all passengers actually shake during this.
Please check the attached video, I am putting constant pressure in the gas pedal and you can actually see how the car jerks as my camera moves and the exhaust of the car is strange.
In comfort this happens 80% of the time, is sport or sport plus seems to happen less.
I did get a new torque converter as suggested in other threads of people with the same issue and that did nothing.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
