Golden Nugget inside Cylinder 1? Carbon Buildup borescope
I have a 2017 C218 Mercedes-AMG CLS 63 S 4-MATIC with 78.000 km (48.500 miles), and I recently replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils on all eight cylinders to maintain a healthy schedule. I installed OEM spark plugs, and installed Beru coils (aftermarket) but since Beru originally produced OEM coils for the M157 engine, they should be the same. I also recorded a borescope video of several cylinders (some were up). I didn't have a large socket to move the engine, and I was doing everything myself, so only a couple videos will be available + my SD Card got corrupted, and I noticed some carbon buildup, but on cylinder one I've never seen something like this, like a small golden nugget (it's carbon, but hardened), and I'm not sure if it came from me or the previous owner. So far, I'm doing every 5.000 km an oil change with OEM AMG 0W-40W oil (A000989650811FCCD) and I'm only filling 102 Octane by Aral (the best gas in Germany). Can someone let me know if anyone has seen something like this before?
The other ones got deleted somehow, hence the re-recording with the phone of cylinder 1.
