Cameras on windshield
Current issues:
- Headlights turn on late at dusk
- Interior lights turn on when almost completely night time
- Auto high beams do not turn on
- Auto tint super sensitive (tint stays on during the day but off at night).
I did buy a new Rain / Light sensor from dealer and calibration specialist said that this was not the problem, windshield was issue.
Does this sound right?

Optical cameras do use a dedicated windshield heater trace BUT the culprit is the camera module itself.... very highly unlikely NOT the windshield trace.
The cameras circuits are built to fail EXACTLY the way you are dealing with oxidized connections that can not reliably drive high electric current loads.
Use a scanner... likely need new camera or get it repaired at a fraction of the cost through an Internet vendor: Google's your friend.
