Wheels are on!

First of all I have to say, Peter Lee from Wheel Experts is the man. He was able to shoehorn 305 25 20's on the back of the car. The rear wheels are 20 x 11's with 4 inch lips. Fronts are 20 x 8.5's with 245 30 20's. Brabus lowering module is installed, I'm still waiting for the body colored side markers and a few other items.

Looks good....but the front looks like it could go lower.
Do they have Euro spec AMG springs for the CLS?

Agreed. With the Brabus unit can it be adjusted? I think there was a post on this a while ago.

Here is the thread you're probably referring to. Its a great write up! You may also want to consider having it lowered by Steve from MBenzNL.

Just some constructive comments (no offense / no pun intended).

Any reason why you went down 1 size to 245 width in the front? (stock is 255 width). The 255/30-20 size is available.

A lot of people have done 305/25-20 on the rears on 20x11 (and even 11.5's). You could also have done 20x9.5 in the front.

Mattar, pm sent. That does look good guys, but a bit too low for my taste. I wanted it lowered slightly only and am happy with the results.

Robert, why did you decide to go with 245's in front instead of 255 for extra sidewall?

Wow man that looks really hot!

You experience any rubbing? I just told a guy that putting 9.5F/10.5R / 20 will 70% chance give him rubbing with the incorrect sized tires! :o

I'll have to relay him this thread and mention that there's already a CLS55 running around with 8.5F / 11R / 20 without rubbing.

But I disgress, your car looks fantastic, and must be a dream to look at!

They are 255/30/20 in the front. The front wheels are 20x9. Glad my spec worked, since I forced HRE to build those specs before anyone else had fitments for the CLS. I even had to sign a waiver saying I would not try to hold them liable for the fitment, since even they believed it would not work.

This is my daily driver, so I'm ok with some gap - if I have anyone ride in the back I dont want to have to worry about rubbing.
