Confused about 030 Performance Package...
Well,
I went to my dealer today and we wanted to finalize my CLS55-order but we couldn't. NetStar doesn't accept order-code 030 before 2005-09-01 building cycle, system said. So if anybody thinks he will have this package on his August or early September-delivery, good luck...
NetStar lists as part of the package 18" Monoblock wheels. Can you tell me what this means? I thought we would get the SL65 19"-wheels and not a lousy downgrade from the standard 19" wheels?!
Maybe somebody can clear this issue up but I'm not as happy as I was yesterday...

So I called him and he told me I would be on top of the list and the car would go into production as soon as we punched it into NetStar. Man, I was happy..but only for one day.
As soon as we tried to punch the 030-package in, the system rejected the order. "not possible until 2005-9-1 order cycle" - whatever that means. I would understand that there might be a delay in the availability of this package, but I was shocked when I saw what the package contained: 18" AMG Monoblock wheels"
What does that mean? Where are the SL65-wheels? Why do we get a smaller wheel with bigger brakes and a downsize from standard 19"?
I would recommend that EVERY member of this board who ordered the car with this package contacts his dealership immediately to straighten that out and to avoid any bad surprises..
