Great track time and that's without the 030 sport package (better suspension and brakes). I wonder how much better it would do with the 030 sports package.

I just saw the Top Gear episode of the CLS55 on their track (May 22, 2005 episode)...Fantastic! It looked mean and very stable at speed around their bends. It is a must see!

Is top gear on the discovery channel only on weds at 10 or is it also on some other time? i always miss it.

I think it is also replayed at like 1am on Thursday night as well (or something like that), but 10am on Weds is the only civilized time. You can get the exact info from the Discovery web site.

We probably won't see it for awhile on Discovery Channel. I think those episodes are from a last year. I found the Top Gear download on http://www.mininova.org and just look for the May 22, 2005 episode.

The powerslides by Clarkson were fun to see. The stig also nailed the track test...The only problem that Clarkson saw wrong with the car were:

1. MB Reliability
2. Cramped back seats

He loved the handling, power, and exterior styling...a lot.
