Tire Pressure Monitoring System

I have noticed in my CLS 55 that there is a window in the driver information system which is for the tire monitoring system. Does anyone know whether this monitoring system can be retrofitted at the dealer?

Sunman did it to his car. It can be done but it is one of those mods where the whole interior comes out, the wheels all have to come off and so does the lining inside the wheel arch. If you can live with that .... its all just a matter of parts. time and money.

More like a mod Steve COULD do but I have no idea if he WOULD do.

The tire monitoring system comes standard on the cls55. The window you are talking about allows you to reset it. Not sure I understand the retro fit part. No need to change a thing

I believe there are two systems. The one in the US version of the AMG 55 monitors the air priessure by the revolutions of the wheels and will notiify you if you lose pressure (Like a dry wall screw in the tire) It will not tell you that you are down 2 pounds of pressure.

Tire Pessure Monitoring System

I just had mine adjusted. It is standard on the US version of the CLS 55. It was adjusted to take into account the 20" Kleemann Wheels that I had put on the car at the time of delivery.
