Clear Protective sheet on the car

Anyone else has the clear protective sheet in front of the rear wheel?

I had those on mine and my salesman told me that Mercedes applied them, I am debating whether to have them removed or not, as on a black car after waxing the sheet's outline REALLY stands out if the edges are not clear of all wax residues.

On a side note, anyone else a golfer here and annoyed that the trunk is not wide enough to take a set of golf clubs sideway as god had intended how golf clubs should fit in trunks?

it's installed from the factory. don't remove it because that area gets rock chip very often due to the flare out panel. many cars nowadays have those clear film installed from factory i.e Porsche 993/997, BMW 6-series, Lotus Elise.

u should be wax around it not to touch the line.

Yeah.... don't take them off.... my car is black also.... got them installed since new.... about two years ago, the film started to become yellowish... and it hurt my eyes so bad so I took it off about a year ago.

Man.... now I regretted every single day.... my car was chip free for the 1st 4 years now has some chips

Lesson learned: Never take off anyone's bra Even rocks become attracted to her

wraps completely around the mirror and down onto and including the attachment arm to the car. Very nicely done. Must look and feel closely to see it.

I had a 3M after market put on the whole front, and mirrors.. they can't do it for the lens on the lights now (as per DOT) but it's worth it.. here in AZ, you're car gets nailed every day due to all of the construction and trucks hauling dirt on the roads everywhere.
