Smile How to Lower the CLS55

geng77 - There are three ways to lower the CLS55. It can be done by the washer/bracket method, reprograming the car's ECU, or installing an after market lowering module.

The following thread has information on lowering the CLS VIA the car's ECU, cost around $ 350.00:

These threads have information on lowering the CLS VIA the Washer/Bracket method, cost around $ 150.00 if you have it done:

https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/107267-lower-your-e55-20mm-0-8-80-cents.html

https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-tires-suspension-brakes-forum/43817-tws-lowering-brackets.html

The after market lowering module method can be looked into by calling "Brabus", "Carlsson", or "Kleeman". This method is the most expensive, around $ 2,000.00.

Good luck. - Bob

i just want half an inch all around, i guess the ecu or the bracket ways would consider safe as well?
