For any of those interested, I found this car on the internet. Always wondered what the car looked like in Graphite and with the porcelain seats.

It wasn't easy!
I have been searching high and low for such photos. I have ordered the same color scheme. I agree! We made the right decision. Mine will be here November 8th.

I agree!
Wifee wanted the pearl white but how many low end autos do we see that color on lately. This color rocks and the interior is the ultimate!

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Let's do the math. I am in my car an average of 4 times per day. There are 365 days in a year and I am keeping the car for 4 years. I will therefore be in the car approximately 5840 times during my ownership. Let's round up and say the designo package costs $8,000. It will cost me $1.36 more to have the designo package every time I drive the car. I guess we all have our priorities but this is something I can certainly live with. Been to Starbucks lately?

The Graphite color looks truly spectacular on that car. Without a doubt, next to black, that would be my ONLY choice.
The only thing I can not stomach is the color of those seats. Not from the way it looks, they are beautiful!! But the way they look now is not the way they are gonna look once you put your butt in there with a pair of jeans on!!!!
Been there, done that, You'll be crying.
Now why the heck don't they give you the graphite color leather like they do in the designo SL's? Anybody know??

The choice of colors IS very limited, without a question. Wouldn't mind if they would change that...

very strange , this graphite color seems to be only available as a IWC Edition of CLS55 which I saw some time ago in HK.

I just took delivery last week on a designo graphite CLS 500. I had reservations about the white seats, but I must tell you that the interior is a fantastic place to sit. Everyone who rides in the car is struck by the "Armani" like feel. The exterior color of designo graphite is one of the two or three best colors Mercedes has ever made.
Honestly, the seats look like they will be a challenge to keep clean and I will never wear jeans in the car. To make matters worse, the piano black wood shows every spec of dust. So, high maintenance but good looking.

Ditto on those pics. That color combination/interior just shot up to #1 on my list on the CLS...next question which engine (55 or 63)?
