My impression of your dealer... bad
If there is someone there, or they know of someone interested in the car you have coming, they will sell it out from under you for a higher price to another buyer. You may never know it was there.
They know when, where and what. You are dealing with dishonest people. IMHO

Sooo, I visited my dealership today to check what's going on with my order. I was number 9 on the list but I guess I showed up the right moment. The SA told me they just got a new building-slot (4 B or W or something like that..
, don't remember the exact name) and they could basically build any car on this slot. As I said, I was number 9 before, the dealer entered my configuration once again and voila - NOW I'M NUMBER 1...
My delivery will be in the second week of January. So I finally have a somehow fixed delivery-date and it's only 3 weeks later than planned when I ordered the car....
best salesperson there is bill siebold, a pleasant look-you-in-the-eye guy who doesn't act like you're his ATM. best SA there -- perhaps anywhere -- is eric silva, but most of the teams are very good there.
also, a great GM, bob d., who doesn't screw around. my experience has always been that when he approves a deal, the deal is done.
when problems arise, everyone there works to resolve them.
hope that's news you can use.

OT: But it seems lately we've had a extremely strong SF/CF presence on the board. I think it's about time we had a meet... We've tried two times before but it always seem'd to fade off into a distant memory
soco67: I sent you a PM....
tramadoc: Are you in the Brickell complex?

I will likely keep the car in Kentucky most of the time. Can enjoy it 3 weeks each month.
I can still make it to the meet.
My salesman, Zuhare Saedi at MB of South Orlando checks the order daily along with his CSI rating and looks to see if there is a change in production status. He says that Netstar will eventually show a new status illustrating the car has been produced and awaiting transportation. He was originally expecting a late Oct early Nov delivery date but unfortunately there was no change in production status thus far
I telephoned MBUSA to see if they had an information on CLS55 030 pkg delays and they said they had no such information.
My speculation is that since this is the first run of 030's that there is some type of small delay getting everything in order for the cars. I do have a printout from my order on Netstar that shows all the configured options and selections. Well it shows something very interesting under the 030 option code.. "AMG REAR BODY M" and then it cuts off and shows the $9500 price.
We really may be getting fender flares with this package after all..
