My Call
With support from all of you, I have weathered the last several weeks without coming home and drop-kicking the cat, chasing the wife down the hall with a wet toilet brush or J@(king off 5 times a day. Many of you have encouraged me, helped me track the ship and offered suggestions on coping. Thank you.
They called Friday and said it was on a truck and will be at the dealership Monday. It will have the illuminated door sills, prep etc. done and I can pick it up Wednesday. Man I hope the weather cooperates! Just in time for the wife's birthday too. She really did not like the 360 but fell in love with the CLS when we saw it in person.
Should be a really good looking car. Every option except the 030. Designo Graphite Gray with porcelain interior and for now chromed factory rims.
Just had to share....

Yep, MBWorld has been with you every step of the way. I rekon you should wait til Wednesday. DON'T go peeking at the car at the dealership or else you will "ruin it".

Post pics, I want to see many pictures of my new car..
Finally, my dealer could tell me the reason for my - somewhat - late delivery:
It's the combination of designo AND 030-package. He told me I would be one of the first in the South-East who will get this "double-pick"....
You got to shoot some pics of the illuminated AMG door-sills (day and night) and tell me how much labor you paid for installation...

Called the dealer and he says that it is on a truck and between Baltimore and West Virginia.
They WILL get the AMG illuminated door sills and likely have it ready Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!
