Green Filters

Just put a set of these puppies in the CLS right now and wow it does breathe better not to mention it really does sound nice.

This is one inexpensive upgrade we all should do IMO. The stock filters are a bit restrictive to say the least.

Nice job.
What about for the other cars as well, I think Neal can get the other setups easily.

BTW: how was install on the C219? Just poppin' off the engine cover?

Yup, very simple. Pop off the cover and put the new ones in. Couldnt be any easier to be honest with you.

Im getting rid of all the other cars in the coming months so I could care less haha.

The TL has about 15K, E350 10K, Oddy about 45K

E55 is at about 30K and CLS is 2200 now.

You do need a special allan key to remove the screws on the covers though. Otherwise its a 5 minute job.

I bought mine from Neal @ www.euroteckmotorsports.com

I've heard they are better than K&N filters.

Best price I've found for green filters is at www.carxpressions.com. They've got em for $36.00 each (need 2) and about 10 bucks shipping.

I needed two filters and the sound is a bit more improved as the engine just revs more freely now and feels like its pulling stronger. IMO these Green filters work like OEM but the performance of K&N without the problems of K&N.

Nice I am thinking of K3 but with another kid on the way I might just rid the E55 and move into that R63 a bit sooner.
