No more 55s' for Canada!
My dealer called to say the 55 I ordered won't be built and the orders being taken now are for the 63s'! So I decided to take one that the dealer ordered for inventory but now it won't have the side bolster seats or Piano black trim.
Hopefully a Kleeman stage2 will put a smile back on my face!

ya..got the same call from benz..... they wont make my cls55 anymore.. so i chose the 63..hopefully the car will be okay..and have no problem with it.. i dont know if this is a good chice..... and dont even know how much the price will go up! hopefully..it onyl goes up by like a 1000 or 2.. the car should be in canada in june...told by the dealer...

That's all fine and dandy, but if they don't switch up the read end ratio or tranny ratios, we are gonna have guys getting their a$$es now whooped in the curves AND the straights by M5's. Really just bragging rights to be honest that we have always been able to laugh at the M5's off the line while they laugh as we hit the corners.
I guess 515 hp vs 500 with be like .2 difference 0-60....let's hope they (AMG) have something up their sleeve with the setup.
If not, at least the twin turb V8 will expand the gap back to laughable status again.

I guess this will make the cls55 more of a collectors item, since it was produced for a short time, it's a great car with a great engine & tranny, and it will in limited supply since it will only be available for a year and a half. This car has definitly brokien the model for what Benz stand for. Do you guy's agree?

nah get the 63. It will be very smooth and bloody quick. Not to mention should sound much nicer than our blown engines. Heck it also has a 7spd transmission, better suspension handling, and possibly a nicer looking front bumper.

Nah nothing to worry about. This engine is the best and has gone under more testing than many other engines I know of. Also the new engine wont suffer from the heat related problems we 55K guys are having with heat soak and what not.

yeah, i like to know prices too. The CLS55 in Canada were all 2006's so it was a very limited production. I am in the process of pricing mine for sale and i don't know what to ask for. Mine basically just sat in my garage for the past 10 months-only 2500kms so far.
