Check out this CLS55
I was actually browsing E-bay, because I'm looking into a CLS55 and I saw this color and LOVED it, then I saw the calipers. The descrition says no stories, but whoah, them beoches are GOLD!!!

Actually spent most of the two days at the AMG challenge at Homestead driving this one if I am not mistaken - Bob Van Epps was my instructor.

We still don't know if the change in color is really a problem with the brake caliper.
All we know is that to turn them Gold they have to be VERY hot. This car certaily saw major track time.
I am quite surprised that they do not change the calipers when they check these cars out before they go to auction.
Didn't someone say that you could still read the AMG Challenge sticker across the windshield on the car from Keys.....

Dunlop's! I saw the car Danny drove at Elkart Lake, but it was in for some type of repair. :} We could only drive a silver CLS 55 that I did not care for. Not enough headroom. I don't think this is an AMG challange car, it still has the front screen. LOL

maybe those were in dyno mode or this 1 had esp on, thats the only logical explanation i can think of
, unless they replaced the front calipers on this car

I was looking some AMG models @ Keyes in Van Nuys- most of their used AMG cars had gold calipers- some had rear gold, but fronts were still silver. I guess they give all of their used cars a good "test drive"?
