When is the first Service?

Hi guys, jut wanted to know is the first service due at 10,000 miles?

I thought I read somewhere that it was at intervals......like 100 miles then 1000 miles...etc.
I dunno?

1,200 miles is the first "check up"

after that, at aprox. 10,000 miles, the car will tell you when and what service is due next.

dealer told me some ****. " if you plan on keeping the car for awhile change it every 5,000 miles, if i plan on selling it soon change it every 12,000 miles.
Im like what does me keeping or selling the car have to do with changing the oil? Mercedes Benz of White Plains...go figure...
