Well for my wife actually. I saw the graphite black/designo red at the country club today. It belongs to a local millonaire and that combination has to be the best looking Benz I have ever seen. I thought the E55 with red interior is cool but the designo red is instant wet dream. IMO it is worth the surcharge for the designo package. I also drool over his Ferrari F430(blue) few months ago. So for all you potential buyers, get the black graphite with designo red interior and you won't regret it!!!

CLS55 for your WIFE!!!! ARE YOU CRAZY?? I let my wife drive mine once and it scared the hell out of her(she loves to gunn it at stop lights ) Mine is black/black which I think is good for a supercar like the cls but red interior is hot too. Good luck, and keep an eye on your wife-drag racing,street racing,etc.

My wife is the opposite; she drives like an old lady. She wants a CLS63(not until spring 2008, thank god) because she said she needs it to replace the aging 2002 E55. Oh, she also said only the Mercedes AMG and not the regular Benz

A CLS63?????? is she crazy?? If i were you I would stick her with a E350 or a R500 that i stuck her with-she wanted a ClS55 "so we could have twins" and im like she settled with the R and is happy

Well, buying her a CLS63 will be cheaper than a divorce and minus the aggrevation Plus she believes in equality; AMG for me and AMG for her. Good thing she works.

I thought the CLS63's were coming out this September?

No we want to get the CLS63 after we build our new home. One expense at a time.

So what I'm getting here is that you are not buying a CLS until 2008. But the first post sounds like you are getting a CLS55 soon. I'm confused!

Can't get it(I would like to though) now because I have to start saving money for the new house. If we break ground next in fall 2007 the house should be ready by spring 2008. Contractors here takes their time and average time to build is 6+ months. I will order the CLS63 January 2008 and I/my wife should have the car soon after I move into the new house. Anyway, I just couldn't believe how good the CLS look with the red interior but funny thing is on the Mercedes website that color is not an option at all. The owner did say something about it was a custom ordered european version and it is not available in the states. I hope by the time I am ready to order it will be available.
