2005 SL 500 and S550 on order
2007 CLS 63 030 Package
I have put my order in for a CLS 63 with the local dealer. Unfortunately my salesman did not know if this package was going to be available. Does anyone know if it is, or does anyone have an option or package list for the 63. Also, if it is available, are the same rims going to be included.
Thanks

AMG Germany website lists the following wheels for 030 CLS63 package:
{19” AMG multi-piece twin-spoke light-alloy wheels}, which are the same
as the wheels offered on the current 030 Pkg on 06 CLS55.

CLS 55 AMG
reading all these reviews about this 63 is getting me a lil itchy to go trade in my car now. I guess we'll jus have to see when it hits the showroom floors and get a test drive

Carriage House of New London let me test drive a 2003 CLK55 they had on the lot before I bought mine.
Also Inskip Auto in Rhode Island let me test drive a CLS55 last October. It was one they had for sale on the lot.
So where do you get the idea that you can't test drive one AMGLAB?

I've bought two AMGs from one dealer and one from another. Would never consider buying one without a roadtest of the model. Can't imagine a dealer objecting. The classy dealers are the one's where the salesman stays behind. That only happened once.

Also I've recently driven a few Mercedes vehicles with the 7sp tranny and they all seemed to have a hard time finding the right gear to deliver the requested power. The engines had plenty of power but the cars didn't seem particularly fast or responsive. The 5sp in the CLS55 seems to react perfectly, on the other hand, and it has no power putting the supercharged engine's big torque to use. Hopefully the CLS63 will have an improved version of the 7sp, or at least better computer cotnrol, compared to the S550 and GL450 I recently drove. No wa of knowing until the cars materialize here.

something fast
Ddo you know where you are on the your dealer's cls 63 list? They should have cars coming in at the end of this month/ early august. The cls 63 is already in production, I know other dealers have had allocations for june build/august delivery.
