Great Story
We have been here in North Carolina about 3 weeks. Yesterday we were going to Greensboro for some dinner and there was a DUI roadblock. We pulled up and the trooper went through the motions and then said "nice car! This is a CLS 55 AMG" and then pointed out some of the specs. He walked around it smiling and then came back to the window and said "Jump on it" I was in disbelief. I smiled, nodded and did 0-60 in 4.2 seconds as I saw the thumbs up in the rear view mirror!!!

Classic.
I get "show me what it can do" often enough after they've pulled me over just to see what the heck it is that I'm driving.
There are car enthusiasts out there whom wear a uniform, a badge, and sidearm for a living....

Couldn't even try that in Jersey. I was in a DUI roadblock and cops couldn't find anything so they gave me an obstruction of view ticket becuse I have a religious locket (given to me by a priest when I was in a car accident that I shouldn't have come out of) hanging from the rearview mirror. ****in cops...

One day when I was at a DMV parking lot about to leave, a motorcycle CHP pulled up next to me(SL55) and said, I will lead u up to the freeway and I want to see what this car can do. Thought he was joking so I just politely laughed it off. He then told me, he is serious and he would really like to see how fast it could go. I still declined bcz I was running late for school. Should have ditched skool for it. How often in life would you ever get an offer like that?
