m6 I hate to say it....
is pretty sweet! I was watching a show on the Speed channel where they tested all of the M cars. Some guy was driving an m6 on the autobohn and hit 194 with traffic all around him. the car seemed so smooth and got back to 100 da-n quick.
anyhow being a devout mb/amg guy it upsets me that i was so impressed
have any of you seen the show? by the way i still think the back of the m6 is really ugly

I agree with everything but the "ugly" part. I think the 6 is the best thing BMW has going in the looks dept. My friend bought one of the 1st M6s here in cali and it really is a great ride. He's still in his break-in stage so as soon as he's out of that we'll have a little showdown. Been very hard to find an M5 or M6 to race in a safe environment. Only one's I have seen have been on the fwy in traffic. lol That's LA.

If we're talking about the same show "that guy" was Hans Stuck (sp?) and the "other guy" was Tommy Kendall. Two fair drivers, they're kind of known around racing circles. Just playing with you 
Although if you were lucky enough to go to any of the AMG Challenges last year Tommy was the guest host at all of them.
There was a similiar show last year on the AMG cars. Both shows were OK but mostly marketing fluff.
Does MB pay you? If not, then don't feel bad about being impressed by other cars. The M6/5 are great cars as are many others.

I saw that segment also and was sitting there with my mouth open. All the M's are sweet but the M6 especially so. Big, beautiful sexy coupe with gobs of power. Can't beat that. I had to get used to the newest 5 series but I liked the 6 right off. It's a car I intend to get one of these days.

just because we drive mb doesnt mean it is the best out there. The M6 is pretty impressive imo. I like everything about the car, besides the front end. The style is by far the best looking bmw has to offer at this time. But my ultimate ride would be a ferrari. hmmmmm, one day... one day (i hope to own one)

I loved that program on speed channel featuring one of the greatest car out in the market today, the M6. Everything about it is outrageous except the waiting list

you can not deny the performance. i also saw the amg show and the M show was by far more impressive (as for the drivers if it aint dale then who is it???). it made the cars look like a better choice. i knew the benz was not a "handler" but the M was really solid. like i said i hate to feel that way, kinda like i cheated on a girlfirend with just the thought. i guess i am secretely coveting the m6
and as the bible says do not covet thy neighbors inferior german car!
