This weeks MODS
After putting them in touch with a bay area dealer they soon were aware that it was a 3 1/2 hour job. So car went in on Monday, and 4 days later I got it back

Here is the Ipod install..
Wires have to be run from the rear trunk fuse box all the way to the front area.

Unfortunately you can't control the Ipod with the Comand unit, only the steering wheel controls it.

Also just a tip for those that have Euro Comand and have the dealer install the Ipod. Once they hook up the Star computer they must enable the phone, well this changes some settings on the Comand unit, so when I went in to check on the car, the first thing I tried was the DVD. It didn't work, when I hit video the SAT not found came up. So after some research on the board, I found that you have to swtich the Comand unit back to W211ECE, this tells the unit that its Euro Comand and it then enables the DVD and disables the SAT. This setting is done with the 5-3-7 trick. All in all I'm very happy with the install and the sound isn't that far off from the CD sound.
So today it went in for the tint job.
I did the Huber Optic Tint 35% on all windows, and 50% on the front windshield. They also installed felt on the rubber seals so it doesn't scratch the tint.

And that concludes this weeks mods
