I was driving my cls 55 the other day on the highway, and i cannot see why amg has to put these speed limiters. Every time i hit 155 mph the limiter cuts in and ruins the experience.

How can I remove the damn thing, and how fast would it go without the limiter.

 

They put the limiter in beacause they made an gentlemans agreement with a bunch of other german car manufac. so "ordinary" cars wouldtn't be going 300+ km/h! If you ask me it might have been an good idea, cause not all people with money know how to drive cars at speeds above 250km/h and because you still can have it removed if you know enough about the car to care:-)
